RecFest:
Join us for our spring open house “RecFest” on Saturday, April 19th from 11:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m. at Baker Park, 121 N Bentz St, Frederick, MD 21701.
This event features a variety of activities that promise fun and engagement for attendees of all ages:
- Baker Park Egg Hunt: Pre-registration is sold out, but limited day of registration will be available.
- Earth Day Celebration and Activities: Participate in environmentally friendly activities to celebrate Earth Day.
- Talley Recreation Center Open House: Enjoy program demonstrations.
- Touch-A-Truck and Bounce House: Experience interactive fun with a variety of trucks and a bounce house, along with many other activities.

All Star Friday Night:
The Basketball League (TBL) has selected Frederick and the Flying Cows to host the 2025 TBL All-Star Weekend, happening April 18-19, 2025!
Get ready for two days of exciting action featuring the league’s top talent, including the 3-point contest, slam dunk competition, and the ultimate All-Star Game!

Easter Egg Hunts at Green Meadows Farm:
Green Meadows Farm will be hosting Easter Egg Hunts on April 5-6, 12-13 & 17-20, 2025. Hunts will be all day between 10:30 am and 3:30 pm. Hunt areas will be sectioned off according to age. No sign up is necessary. Participating children 12 and under will get a Hunt Ticket with the purchase of a farm admission. Bring your own basket or buy one from us.
The Easter Bunny will be here as well for photos. $18.00, credit only, ages 2 to 82, babies free. Admission includes one free hunt AND our regular petting farm fun (hayride, free animal feed, pig races and more!). Farm opens at 10:00 am. Last admission is 3:00 pm, we close at 4:30 pm.

The Wizard of Oz:
Other Voices Inc. brings to Frederick a new, original adaptation of The Wizard of Oz! Dorothy, Toto, and other well-known favorites land on the Weinberg stage, and audiences will be thrilled to meet new characters pulled from the original works of L. Frank Baum. The Wizard of Oz is the perfect family event for the Easter holiday weekend with 2 hours of high-energy dance, music, special effects, and clever dialogue as you travel from Kansas to the Emerald City and back again with Dorothy and friends!
