After nearly 40 years in business, Party City has announced it will be closing all of its stores, according to a CNN report on Friday. 

The closures will affect 19 Maryland locations, including the store in Frederick at 5600 Urbana Pike.

The other Maryland stores include:

Annapolis, Baltimore, Bel Air, Catonsville, Cockeysville, Columbia, Forestville, Gaithersburg, Hagerstown, Lanham, Laurel, Owings Mills, Pasadena, Rockville, Salisbury, Waldorf, Westminster, Wheaton.

Going-out-of-business sales are already underway, with discounts of up to 50% advertised on the company’s website. 

All Party City stores are expected to close by February 28th. Additional details will be provided as they become available.
