Since August 2023, we’ve kept you informed on the upcoming Downtown Frederick Hotel & Conference Center project along Carroll Creek. The project officially broke ground with a ceremony held on Thursday, December 19th. Maryland Governor Wes Moore and local officials were in attendance.

The Marriott branded hotel & conference center will be developed by the Plamondon Companies and will feature 208 rooms, 22,000+ square-feet of public meeting rooms, restaurant/bar lounge, and a 2,678 square-foot retail building. The hotel building will have 5 floors above ground and two underground levels for parking. (The future site of the hotel is shown in the 2nd video clip)
