The Mint Room, a contemporary Indian restaurant with existing locations in Ellicott City and Bel Air, is set to take over the former Distilled space in Frederick. Back in April, we informed you that Distilled, a local craft cocktail bar & restaurant, had abruptly closed its doors permanently at 221 B Shorebird St in the Market Square at Frederick.

According to The Mint Room’s website, “The Mint Room of MD offers an extensive menu of traditional delicacies from northern India using the finest of ingredients. Enjoy the ambiance of our rustic contemporary decor and the space to accommodate all of your family gatherings, parties, and banquets. Now offering dine-in, take-out, and catering services.”
The arrival of this new restaurant promises a new culinary experience for Frederick residents. Specifics about the tentative opening date and possible menu offerings have yet to be announced. Additional details will be provided as they become available. Stay tuned for updates!
