Since June we let you know that Roggenart European Bakery would be coming soon to 1305 W. 7th St in Frederick, MD, taking over the former space of Los Toltecos Mexican restaurant.

The Frederick location is now open at 1305 W 7th St. Our team was honored to attend an exclusive breakfast tasting during the bakery’s soft opening as seen below:

Roggenart, which now has five Baltimore-area locations (and another in Northern Virginia) is a family-owned, European-inspired bakery takes pride in crafting everything from scratch, using only the finest ingredients, including rich European butter.

The bakery is known for their flaky croissants, decadent pastries, and handcrafted breads. Other menu items include egg croissant sandwiches & omelettes, cast-iron pressed sandwiches on housemade sourdough bread, seasonal soups + salads, and cafe drinks.
