Join us for the 46th Annual Gas Engine, Tractor, and Truck Show at Gladhill Tractor! Hosted by The Central Maryland Antique Tractor Club. Food will be available for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Plenty of family friendly activities for all ages including Wagon Rides, Barrel Train Rides, a Combine Slide, Shingle Mill, Gas Engine Displays, Tractor and Truck Displays, Flea Markets, Crafts and more. Price: FREE

Friday, June 7th at 5:30 PM – Antique and Collectibles Auction. Then, at 7:00 PM – Dave Boyer, Clayton Lenhart and Yarnell Wastler Scholarship Fund Memorial Cake Auction.

Saturday, June 8th at 10:00 AM – Antique Tractor Pull. 1:00 PM – Children’s Pedal Tractor Pull (ages 5-10) and free watermelon after the pedal pull. Farm Stock Classes will begin at 5:00 PM, .

Sunday, June 9th at 10:00 AM Lawn and Garden Tractor Pull. 12:00 PM – Parade of Tractors, 1:00 PM Children’s Pedal Tractor Pull (ages 5-10), 2:00 PM – Slow Tractor Race

Presented by Animal Welfare League of Frederick County– We have partnered with Hidden Hills Farm & Vineyard to bring you an afternoon of fun for your families and furbabies alike – join us for fabulous wine, dog games and training demonstrations, a silent auction, activities for kids, and an all-around beautiful day perusing our vendor stalls and enjoying the winery.

Each ticket includes a complimentary glass of wine in a commemorative wine glass*, an entry into our door prize raffle, and unlimited access to our activities and vendors.

Online ticket sales end June 7th, but day-of tickets will be available at the venue and are $25 each.

The first 100 people to buy tickets will receive a pawsome gift bag stuffed with lots of goodies!

It’s time for spring cleaning at the Delaplaine, too! Stop by the yART sale for gently used books, miscellaneous art supplies, frames, decor, and other odds and ends. On Saturday, items are priced as tagged. On Sunday, it’s pay-what-you-want for the leftover items. Proceeds benefit educational programs at the Delaplaine. Sorry, we are not accepting donations for the sale.

Myersville Farmer’s Market:

Celebrate local products, fresh food, and community at the Myersville Farmers Market! Explore seasonal fruits and vegetables, fresh mushrooms, meats eggs and cheeses, baked goods, local honey, local spirits, bath and body products, locally made crafts, and more! The purpose of these markets is to build community spirt and engagement, as well as and to increase relationships between the artisans, crafters, and farmers with their customers.

On-Farm Farmer’s Market

Mid-May through Mid-September come out to the on-farm market at Chocolates and Tomatoes Farm on Saturdays, 9AM-1PM.

  • Browse our selection of regeneratively grown-here vegetables, fruits, and herbs (100s of varieties throughout the season) and made-here artisan chocolates
  • We also carry local honey, made partly from the hives on our farm; local eggs from other Frederick County farms; and some other local delights. 
  • Sometimes we have fresh-made sourdough bread and rolls, and other baked goods. 

We accept cash, debit, and credit. We are open when sunny and rainy (except when high winds or lightening).

Summer Concert Series at Baker Park Bandshell:

Enjoy free, high-quality musical entertainment on Sunday nights in June, July, and August at the Baker Park Band Shell. 7PM-8:30PM (FREE EVENT)

From tribute artists and oldies to Afrofunk and bluegrass, Celebrate Frederick’s Summer Concert Series showcases professional musicians from a wide range of musical backgrounds. Previous artists have included jazz legend Charlie Byrd, Spyro Gyro’s Scott Ambush and Julio Fernandez, country chart-climber Cleve Francis, Bluegrass favorite Railroad Earth, L.A.-based Latin group Incendio, bluesman Tom Principato, and many more.

All concerts are free to the public. In lieu of admission, the Summer Concert Series Committee invites attendees to bring a canned food item to donate to the Frederick Food Bank. All donations can be brought to the Drees Homes Information Booth.

Rain Policy: Concert cancellations are announced on the specific concert event page on http://www.celebratefrederick.com and will be posted on Celebrate Frederick’s Facebook Page and Instagram. Every effort is made to post cancellation notices by 5:00 PM on the day of the concert.

Weekly Carillon Recitals in Baker Park

Weekly Carillon Recitals in Baker Park featuring City Carillonneur John Widmann playing the carillon of 49 bells from a mechanical keyboard with fists and feet. Bells range from 3,400 to 22 pounds of bronze and can be heard for blocks, but best in the park near the Gazebo. 12:30PM to 1:00PM
