GolfPass recently released their ‘Top 50 U.S. Public Golf Courses – Golfers’ Choice 2024’ list according to its users. One of Frederick County’s Golf courses ranked among the top 10 percentile.

GolfPass is a membership program that connects golfers to every aspect of the game, from exclusive video content and instruction to tee time credits and travel tips.

According to @golfpass, in order to be eligible for the Top 50 US Public Golf Course list, “a golf course must a) be accessible (i.e.municipal, daily-fee, resort and semi-private courses) and b) receive at least 10 reviews in the previous year.”

“In determining the final rankings for the year, we weigh several factors, each of which correspond to the way our reviews are structured:

– Overall Rating
– Value
– Conditions
– Layout
– Pace of Play
– Staff Friendliness
– Off-Course Amenities”

Worthington Manor Golf Club (@worthingtonmanor) in Urbana, MD was ranked #6.

What they’re saying: “First time I played there but will be back asap! Course was in very good shape except one tee box on a par 3. Greens are unforgiving. Putt & chip right or it’s coming back to sender. I played with a member who was able to give me tips on the course. He was a great help & an even better golfer.
