Construction continues at the former Visitation Academy of Frederick grounds. In March 2022 we let you know that construction was under way for the Visitation Frederick Hotel & Condominiums on E 2nd St in Downtown Frederick. The historic Visitation Academy school building is currently being renovated into a 67-room boutique Marriott affiliated hotel, complete with a full-service spa and fitness center, an intimate performance venue, and a white-tablecloth restaurant with bar.

In addition to the hotel, three condominium buildings are being constructed on the site, featuring luxury single-floor condo units. The 1- and 2-bedroom condos range in size from 1,500 to 2,500 SF. Will feature private balconies as well as private 2 car garages.

According to the Visitation Condos website, Building 1 is already sold out but reservations for Building 2 are still available. The units start at $1.25 million, current floor plans are 2 & 3 bedroom + den, ranging from 2,500 to 3,600 square-feet, single floor living, private balconies & 2-car garage. Expected delivery date is mid-2024.
