Frederick County Fire & Rescue (FCDFRS) responded to a single-family home located at the 100 block of Crossing Pointe Ct around 6:35 am with fire showing on the rear deck with extension to the house, according to FCDFRS in an update. 1 adult had self evacuated, 2 dogs were rescued and are okay.

Red Cross was requested. The fire was under control within 30 minutes, no injuries were reported. Fire Marshal arrived to the scene to investigate.
