Back in November, we first let know you that a Hangry Joe’s Hot Chicken was “coming soon” to the former Baja Fresh space on 5595 Spectrum Dr in the FSK Gateway Shoppes across the Francis Scott Key mall. The restaurant is now open.

Hangry Joe’s allows you to choose the spice level of the fried chicken: (Plain<Mild<Medium<Hot<Angry Hot) In addition to the hot chicken sandwiches, known as “Chicken Sando”, the menu includes chicken fingers, chicken & waffles, Korean Chicken Nuggets, loaded fries, and salad with chicken breast. Sides offered include cider slaw, waffle fries, and fried okra.

There is a second Hangry Joe’s location coming soon to Frederick at 7820 Worman’s Mill Rd in the Clemson Corner shopping center, still no update on the exact opening date.
