Frederick County Fire & Rescue (FCDFRS) responded to a house fire on the 100 block of Water St in Downtown Frederick at approximately 10 am on Sunday morning.

Approximately 60 firefighters responded to the scene. Two dogs were rescued and turned over to the homeowner who was not home at the time of the of the fire, according to FCDFRS. Fire marshal is investigating the cause & origin.
