On April 23, 2023, Bed Bath & Beyond filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy and announced that it would be closing their remaining 360 stores and 120 Buy Buy Baby locations by June 30.

According to the company website, store closing sales started on Wednesday, April 26. Coupons are no longer being accepted but customers can redeem merchandise credits and use gift cards through close of business on May 8.
