Congratulations to Urbana native Bryan Bresee for being drafted by the New Orleans Saints in the 2023 NFL Draft

Bresee began his high school career at Urbana and transferred to Damascus after one season where he helped Damascus win states and was named Maryland Player of The Year in 2018.

Defensive Tackle Bresee was the No. 1 overall recruit in the nation prior to joining Clemson. As a freshman at Clemson, he was named the Atlantic Coast Conference Defensive Rookie of the Year in 2020.

He joins Jordan Addison as the second Frederick County Player picked in the first round of this year’s draft and only the 3rd overall including Chuck Foreman in 1973.

Bresee and Jordan Addison are now the fifth and sixth Frederick County natives to be drafted into the NFL since Foreman in ‘73.
