Back in November, we let know you that a Hangry Joe’s Hot Chicken would be coming soon to the former Baja Fresh space on 5595 Spectrum Dr in the FSK Gateway Shoppes across the FSK mall.

The founder of SweetFrog, Derek Cha and his partner Mike Kim, are bringing their take on the Nashville-Style hot chicken sandwich to Frederick.

Hangry Joe’s allows you to choose the spice level of the fried chicken: (Plain<Mild<Medium<Hot<Angry Hot)

In addition to the hot chicken sandwiches, known as “Chicken Sando”, the menu includes chicken fingers, chicken & waffles, Korean Chicken Nuggets, loaded fries, and salad with chicken breast. Sides offered include cider slaw, waffle fries, and fried okra.

Hangry Joe’s currently has locations open in Rockville & Wheaton in case you wanted to try them out before they open in Frederick.

We have been told that the new location could potentially open by the end of April.
