Back in October we let you know that a Dairy Queen Grill & Chill restaurant would be coming to Old National Pike in New Market. The new DQ is just one of the new tenants joining the Lake Linganore Town Center currently under development. The town center is already home to The Goddard School and a 7-Eleven— with DQ, McDonald’s, IHOP, Tommy’s Express Car Wash, Heartland Dental, and Frederick Primary Care Associates joining soon, according to the town center website.

Final site plans for a 64,000 square-foot grocery store anchored retail center have been submitted for approval and are set to be reviewed by the Frederick County Planning Commission on April 19. Weis will be anchoring the new grocery store phase which will also feature a gas station and additional retail space. Estimated opening dates are unknown at this time.
