Frederick County Fire and Rescue Services (FCDFRS) responded to a house fire on the 3500 block of Basford Rd in Frederick on Saturday afternoon around 1:18pm.

Upon arrival fire was showing from 2nd floor and roof, all occupants were out of the house. The fire was put out in 45 minutes, approximately 45 firefighters responded to the fire. No injuries were reported, 2 adults & 3 children have been displaced. Fire marshal is on site investigating the cause & origin, according to latest updates.

The fire was determined accidental, according to fire marshal investigation. There is an estimated $400,000 in damages to the house and $100,000 of items damaged inside.
