On Monday, Senators Ben Cardin and Chris Van Hollen presented a check for $375,000 to the Asian American Center of Frederick to support an early childhood education expansion.

The money will go towards new programs such as a universal pre-k, daycare programs, and a co-generation program to help immigrant parents through the family support center, within the existing AACF building. Family support center programs are set to start on July 1.
