Back in November we let you know that Frederick’s Historic Prospect Hall was awarded $600,000 in tax credits for renovations.

The mansion along Butterfly Lane in Frederick, was one of 16 projects around the state to receive a portion of $19 million in rehabilitation tax credits awarded to revitalize Historic buildings across the State of Maryland.

Last month, the Frederick city planning commission approved final site plans to turn the historic property into an event venue.

The Prospect Hall mansion was built in the early 1800’s and was home to St. John’s Catholic Prep before moving to their current location in Buckeystown in 2013. Additional information on the project will be provided as it becomes available.
