The Career & Technology Center (CTC) Student House Project began in 1978 as a way to provide real-world experiences for the students in the trades programs: Carpentry, Electricity, HVAC, Plumbing and Landscaping.

Each house project is typically completed over the course of two school years. Students work under the direction of Frederick County Students for Construction Trades Foundation, Inc. and complete 80-85% of all work. The remaining work is completed by industry partners and contributors.”
