Family Dollar, located at the Patrick Street Center on 467 W Patrick St in Frederick, has announced it is closing. A store employee tells us that it will be closing on March 16 and that will also be the last day to shop. Everything is currently on sale for 30% off.

The Patrick Street shopping center is set to be demolished and replaced by The Terrace, a 3 building, 300 unit multi-family residential complex. No word yet on when the construction will begin.
