Back in September 2022, we let you know that Mexicali Cantina would be closing their Frederick location after October 17th due to the repurposing of the Patrick Street Center.

On October 5th they announced via social media post that they would remain open through the end of the year after extending their lease at 467 W Patrick St.

The restaurant is now closed after 22 years of business in Frederick. A Mexicali Cantina restaurant still remains open in Hagerstown.
