Per FPD: Over the past month, the Frederick Police Department has seen an increase in catalytic converters being stolen from vehicles in the City of Frederick.

These thefts have primarily occurred in the areas of: Route 40 Corridor, between Waverley Drive and Baughmans Lane (NAC 5)
In neighborhoods surrounding Hill Street Park (NAC 8) Other locations: NAC 1, 4, and 7

The main type of vehicle being targeted are: Toyota Prius and Nissan Vans. These vehicles tend to be parked in residential neighborhoods.
